5 Ways to Get Your Photos Off Your Phone and into Tangible Memories

Like most people, I’m sure that you have thousands upon thousands of photos saved to your phone. In this post I am going share with you some ways to get your personal photos off of your phone and printed into tangible real life items that you and your family will treasure!

Tangible images are real, objects that can be held in your hand or placed on your wall.

Ok, so fess up, how many photos do you have on your phone right now?

Here’s a screen shot of my iPhone albums.

15,158!!!

Ok, so maybe 25% of those are screen shots and 25% are memes but the rest are photos and videos!

I remember a time that when your phone died, so did all of the photos that lived on it. I’ve had this happen more than once and it is devastating and heartbreaking. Thankfully I think most of us have a cloud backup now.

Are your iPhone photos backed up!?

Not sure?

iPhone users, go to your browser and check here —> iCloud.com

I’ll wait, go ahead and check…

Now you can sleep better knowing your precious images are backed up.

However, even if your photos are being backed up to the cloud, your favorite everyday cell phone shots of your loved ones deserve to be seen in real life and not just hiding in an “album” on your phone!

So here are some of my favorite ways to print your personal phone photos so they can exist out there in the real world for you and your family to enjoy!

*Although I recommend these products for your own personal iPhone photos, I do not recommend these companies or products for professional photos taken by myself or another professional photographer.

#1 CHATBOOKS

I can vouch for these as I have printed many of them in the past. The quality is pretty decent and they come in an array of fun colors and designs so they look great on the bookshelf!

My boys love flipping through these books to see photos throughout their childhood. My youngest has his own set in his room that I often find him looking at and my Mother in law loves to receive these as gifts.

You can even use photos directly from your Instagram and choose to include the captions!

The best part is this is easy, not very time consuming and affordable!

#2 MIXTILES

“The magic frame that sticks to any surface. Get your photos in stylish frames that stick directly to your wall and leave no damage behind!”

You can order via their website or easily from your phone and yes, you can print your Instagram or Facebook images!

Tiles are 8″x8″ and are $11 each.

These look like a lot of fun and I plan to put an order in asap!

#3 PARABO PRESS

Here is another consumer lab that I have used in the past and I love their square prints!

You order them in sets of 20 and you can choose 4″ square prints for $10 or 5.5″ inch square prints for $15.

You can upload photos directly from your phone, Instagram, Facebook or Dropbox.

Check out their website and see all of the fun ways you can display these prints in your home.

Choose from soft or hard cover photo books, prints, frames, cards, calendars and more. This is a great place to create a gift for a loved one! And like the other companies, you can order from Facebook and Instagram.

With Once Upon at hand it is easier than ever to make photo books from the pictures on your phone. Add a few photos to a page when you have a minute or two to spare or create a whole book.

Their photo books begin at $25

So make yourself a goal for 2022 and get your favorite images off your phone and into a tangible item to display on your walls, on your desk, as a gift or a set of photo books that you and your kids will love to look at together! You’ll never regret creating these tangible memories to remind you of some of the best times of your life!

*Please note, these are consumer level products and not from professional printing companies. I have not personally tried all of these products so I cannot vouch for the quality of them.
